In a world where some leaders are sadly and inexplicably pushing against diversity initiatives and programs, Columbus Ganesh Mandal not only superbly brings a touch of home to Columbus' Indian community and others via its programs, but it also serves as a great cultural awareness tool for longtime residents here to better understand and enjoy a remarkable group of internationals bringing a vibrancy and exuberance to our everyday life. It has been a joy to include this in the local newspaper's coverage of the Mandal for more than a decade. A broader window on our world is invaluable for sharing differences while simultaneously finding commonalities.

I was in Columbus for a very short while, but very fortunately, that was during Ganesh Chaturthi time. Every year since then, I miss being in Columbus for Ganpati. Kudos to the organizers for maintaining a nice blend of cultural and modern traditions. I wish to visit Columbus Ganesh Chaturthi again sometime.

A nice platform where we are able to connect and enjoy one the most favorite festivals of India - Lord Ganesh Festival. Creative decoration...Overall well managed work...It feels nice that I am celebrating own culture in the country which is too far from India.
